Izanami, Lady of Styx, appeared before the Envoy of Gaia in all her glory.

Izanami is constantly escorted by her fellow demons that aid her in battle. Their sharp talons can quickly cut through any enemy's armor and decrease their Defense. Wounds from these attacks bleed constantly and cause continuous damage. Hellfire from the Abyss boosts the motivation among your allies.

Izanami is a great partner to have by your side in battle.

This event will last until the next patch hits the server! (But who knows, it may return~)

What does it mean? New Eidolons in the guild hall!

Henrik (Crescent Hill - X: 251 Y: 544) has now new daily quests. Each daily quest is for one mode of the Gaia Sanctuary.

Upon completing a daily quest you will receive an Eidolon’s Soul Fragment.

Fuse 4 of the same Soul Fragments to a new shiny summon stone and then join your guild hall.

    Now you can summon it!

    Eidolons featured in this event:

But if you fear ghosts Zashi will play with you too!

Or rather listen to Uriel’s Rock’n Roll?

You can also simply pet Lassie, Pandora’s dog!

    • The Party Search font is legible again!
    • The bug with Eidolon Archive 3* effect of Dante and Michaela has been fixed.
    • New Loading Screen - Izanami
    • Some Loading Screen Tipps have been changed
    • Eidolon interface was revamped!

    Have fun!

    Your Aura Kingdom Team

  • i've got so many error message including the failed download game.bin, i even cannot login into aeria website. is there anybody has a same thing like me?

  • I really like the fix the the party search bar. Was about time, but finally: Good Job!

What I am not really a fan of, is the new loading screen. (I liked the Venus one it was sooo cute chamsey.)

The idea with the 4 rare eidosummons is AMAZING. Props to all. Everyone is really excited and my guildies are non stop asking for the Temple of Eidolon Dungeons now. Let's hope their fun won't get killed by horrible rates helppp.
I'm looking forward to try out the new valley, tho I wont be able to till weekend. So I'll might edit my feedback to that later.

(I hope a bigger patch hits us soon, this small things won't be interesting for many for long.)

    Thanks!

  • The eidolon summoning stones are a great idea. However, the fact that you can't store them in shared warehouse makes this a huge PITA not only to gather them, but also summon them (having to log into multiple chars each time you want to summon whatever amount you collected). The load screen looks dope but thats imo. I just wish you guys would release the eidolon packs along with the patch, not 2-3 months after the patch.

And although any patch is a sight for sore eyes, this patch didn't really have anything content wise, still same old same old grind fest. Please at use Taiwan's EXP curve for the coming level-cap increase instead of a custom one thats barely any different from out current rate. Grinding to 90 takes like 1 month of full runs, forget hitting 95 lol.

  • So.. that's it?

    Basically...

    • 1 more Eidolon, just like in any patch.
    • Trying to fix PvP again. Really? How many people still care about that?
    • Eidolon event, huh? Cool, I guess. Hold on, Zashi is there? 5-stars for this patch.
    • Some bugs fix.

Still waiting for a real patch with actions and kicking but oh well, we all get used to it.

  • Does this game have daily maintenance? Because we just had maintenance yesterday and I can't login because of maintenance again today....;(

  • looks like we'll get the curve next patch if Aeria doesn't really "delay" it again, i was expecting at least exp curve and new mirabelle quest, and prolly purple secret stone and eido marriage will be excluded but we get Izanami, pvp and revamped eido ui instead, but it's ok.. let's just wait :AK6:

  • It was strange to see the redone eidolon UI (which I feel is a bit worse now, especially in terms of eidolon prayers) but not four star eidolons, since that seemed to be one of the major reasons it was redone.

Experience curves will probably be kept "harder" under the excuse that "it's too easy even with these changes let alone without them" to try and milk more money out of a player base who hasn't realized Aeria let the state of the game become horrible for the vast majority of what used to be their active and numerous player base (the majority of which have walked away or, if they are still around, don't actively "play" at all really anymore).

The only reason they can get away with making horrible curves is because apparently ONLY AKUS complains about it, and even at that "only the people on forums complain" and by that logic, Aeria thinks it's fine to treat players like this.

Here, here! Yeah, the Aeria apologists giving the excuses of...

"You don't need +30, get good at the game"

"You only need level 85 to access the maps and dungeons, stop complaining to try and get more than that for no work"

"You don't need a lot of eidolons"

"Costumes are entirely not a need"

    "Who cares about PVP"

"It's only the vocal minority not pleased with the way the game is changing"

"We have a ton of users logging in and on Discord so it's well enough to be alive and that's proof"

...and other such very poor excuses, completely made me realize how out of touch they were, and I gave up trying to voice concerns. As a former supporter of this game who had their back turned to, I finally walked away (I did not want to). I was far from alone in that group who tried to support this game and got turned away from, and had to walk away, as well.

Aura Kingdom USED to be a great game for the masses, while still encouraging more financially able players to spend and support it. Then all these updates added more things which added to the cost required to stay on top, some of the features being put behind bigger walls entirely, and these costs were not brought down over time either. These two things combined (more things that needed to be done AND the cost of them going up) exponentially makes the game less rewarding, and thus drove away most of the free to play mass, which held the important part of the infrastructure of the game up. Aeria forgot, in their attempt to monetize the game to an extreme, that the free to play mass is an important part too in keeping the game healthy.

The sad part is, even to this day, Aeria has seemingly been doing a GREAT job of bringing new players in (ones who probably haven't learned better yet), which makes it all the more saddening as that potential makes me think it COULD have been an active and popular, great thing still if things didn't go this way.

  • IMO, this apparently is now a common business strategy for most of the games I've been playing (I'm not playing that many games tho). They all agree that as long as they can drag new players to come and pay to some extends, all is well and forgiven. I imagine this is what the conversation in the office sound like:

People complaining? OK, that may be not good.

Veteran players leaving? Well, it happens.

Now they are raging and bid farewell on forums? Ah, I wish them good luck too.

Our income hasn't reached the expected? RELEASE THE EIDOLONS SKEM BOXES AND TRAP PARAGONS!!!

We have reached the expected but people are complaining more? That's enough work for today, grab me a beer.

  • I feel like the other problem is that the new team is just completely in denial. You saw a few days ago when Scarface said that the old PM was the one who almost killed the game. They constantly claim that the game is too active for a server merge when it takes about 30 minutes to recruit for a 3/1 run of 90 content. They say that they won't give a proper level curve because it's too harsh for new players, but in reality most veterans would rather have high level players with no gear to be able to fill their parties than low level people with max gear that can't run most content.

The game will just continue to go down at this rate, Aeria needs to start listening to the vocal minority because they're being vocal for a reason.
